Help In Hand is designed to help guide parents of children undergoing surgery through all aspects of the surgical journey; from what to expect prior to surgery through to common questions that arise after surgery. The app also includes a medication reminder tool to help parents manage their child’s post-operative pain.
Help In Hand is created with support from the University of Calgary and Cumming School of Medicine, Department of Surgery in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is currently being piloted at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with patents of Dr. Warren K. Yunker.
